Collection: ORP: Oxidation Reduction Potential
Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP), also known as REDOX, is the electron exchange potential that measures if a substance (usually liquid) is either oxidized or reduced. Oxidizers will always have a positive ORP value, whereas reducers will always have a negative ORP value. ORP is commonly used to measure cleanliness in water systems and the breakdown of waste products, debris, and contaminants.
Atlas Scientific offers embedded solutions for engineers who need to read ORP in robotic applications, industrial process control, or mass production of electronics and appliances. Our line of ORP probes come in different grades, from consumer-grade ORP to industrial grade, depending on the level of accuracy and intensity of your measurement environment.
